TIME TO REVIEW

QUEEN OF TIKTOK

Annesha’s Digital Artefact is a great way to empower women about a healthy lifestyle with a balanced diet.

Although Annesha stated she would be utilising hashtags, an improvement she could make is going into detail on how she will be using hashtags. Will she be tagging words related, or trending words? There is a great article Annesha can use which will educate her on the importance of particular hashtags similar to the content she is creating. It is beneficial to boost her marketing.

The FIST technique has been represented throughout her DA, as TikTok requires short and easy videos. Annesha mentioned she will be using audience feedback in her feedback loop. It would be great to know what kind of feedback (comments, likes, views) or even interaction with TikTok stories? Aneesha could also utilise links in her contextual report that highlight the platforms and accounts she has already made so far. Her aesthetic fits the food criteria in a fun and innovative way! Aneesha addressed her audience well and I like how she is using a design platform, Canva, to help create TikTok content. I have taken this into account that I can go above and beyond with content I will be showcasing for Beyond Empathy.

Aneesha can also improve on addressing how often she will be posting. For TikTok users to trend, some post up to 5 videos a day! It’ll be great to know how she is scheduling out these videos and how many she is posting a day.

She has done a lot of research regarding her audience and clearly stated how she can already improve her content, by collaborating with others. A tip I have for the future is perhaps post behind the scene videos on how you come across these amazing recipes. Aneesha addressed how her project is relevant to her, which is something I can take on board for my own DA. Her idea is expressive, fun and creative, on a super popular platform.

I can’t wait to see how well she goes and have no doubt her content will go viral!

QUEEN OF MARKETING

Kate’s Digital Artefact is absolutely fantastic and it’s so awesome to see my peers give back to the community. Her range of platforms is so impressive. This idea is extremely relevant due to all of the tough times small businesses have gone through during COVID-19. Her project clearly represents the FIST concept, as her work is free of charge.

Kates contextual report can involve more links which showcase her work so far! It would have also been cool to showcase an example of a mouldboard used for a particular business. However, the example of the poster she designed was a great way to also showcase her work, developing her professional portfolio online.

This tweet is a great way to showcase her progress so far! Kate could also add a picture to show her audience a sneak peak of her work on Canva. As Kate has mentioned marketing tips and tricks on TikTok, this article dives into specific routes she can take which can be helpful to her project. Her use of time is extremely organised, portrayed through her Gantt Chart. I didn’t do a schedule for my project, as there was so much to say, but have been inspired by a Gantt Chart which gives me an easy way to simplify my tasks.

It would also be interesting to know how Kate is going to manage her many aesthetics she will be doing for different businesses. I would love to know if she will be using mood boards or perhaps another way to track this and gain inspiration.

I can’t wait to see Kate’s idea progress even further and will be following along her journey.
